How has the current situation helped the planet?

How has the current situation helped the planet? Coronavirus is a serious human health and safety problem, but as people, businesses, and governments are changing their daily behaviors and patterns to contain (or avoid) the virus, there have also been environmental effects that are being unexpectedly beneficial. The braking to which the industries of giants such as China have been forced as a result of the pandemic, the reduction in the number and frequency of flights between many destinations around the world, or the suspension of large concentrations and sporting, social events and cultural, as well as the precautions to which the citizens are subjecting themselves in their particular movements, is bringing as a consequence a clear drop in the level of emissions of polluting gases. Likewise, the temporary ban on wildlife trade imposed by China to combat the coronavirus has also given some species of threatened animals a break, since this country, by tr...

How has quarantine changed our lives?

How has quarantine changed our lives? The coronavirus outbreak has changed the lives of millions of people worldwide. The quarantine has given us back the nights of talks, family lunches, it has known us again, it gives us the opportunity to listen to each other and even dust off those board games kept for years. The closure has separated us to get closer. But isolation has not only brought us, it has also taken away the simplest things in life: the breeze on our faces, quality time with friends, with relatives who perhaps live far away or are in other cities, the coronavirus stole what we thought would always be there.

The wolves and their work in a team similar

There is no doubt that humans are an exclusive species. But science is making it clear that it is neither more nor less exclusive than others. Attributes such as intelligence, empathy, justice, or self-awareness, which we believed to be different from humans, have also been found in animals. Wolves hunt as a team, this is their great virtue that has been adopted by humans over the years to take actions that benefit them. SOCIAL BEHAVIOR Wolves are usually organized in packs following a strict social hierarchy. This high level of organization is believed to have had to do with hunting success. BODY EXPRESSIONS Its aggressiveness is its main trait with which it can defend itself against possible predators, an aggressive wolf growls and bristles its fur and is ready to attack at any moment. A wolf in full hunting is tense, and therefore the tail is horizontal and straight. A defensive wolf flattens its ears against the head. Wolves share various emotions wi...

The geese

Not only humans have feelings, values, thoughts and many more things that human beings can do. Animals also have these and many more characteristics. In this blog I am going to talk about geese which are a great example to observe the capabilities of animals. These birds fly in groups until they reach their destination. Their flight shape is a "V" since in this way the resistance to the wind is less and they must make less effort to go further. When one of them leaves his place in the formation he immediately returns to the group because he cannot fly alone. When the one in front gets tired, he goes to the last place and the second takes his place. Those who are further back make sounds while flying to encourage those in front and if someone becomes ill or is injured they take him between two companions to a safe place, wait for him to recover and return to the formation. These wonderful animals show us the importance of the people we have around us and th...

Social and collaboratived animals

Did you know that humans are not the only social "animals", it turns out that animals like dolphins and monkeys are as sociable as us and they have social structures similar to ours. The firts one we are going to talk is the dolphins, and curiosly did you know that the dolphins have conversation, yeah just like me and you, according to studies, dolphins take turns to making sounds; speaking of communication, did you know that dolphins have a name, well actually it is more like a particular sound that characterizes them, but it is still incredible, so that the dolphin remembers his name all his life the dolphin mother speaks to her baby while she is in the womb. The other animal is the monkey, did you know that they have different behaviors depending on the area where they live, This can be demonstrated when we see two breeds of monkeys, one is in an environment where there is almost no food, since the strongest prevails and the others live off their leftovers an...
